“Love is a friendship that has caught fire. It is quiet understanding, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses”. Ann Landers
The drizzling rain poured down
Through sky beautified in its color,
There, with the clashing sounds of thunder and lightning
Blocked the way leading to my love’s land.
I could picture her
Hiding in the clouds, she plays with joy,
Eyes colored wondered bestowed with loves,
Is it the cloud or her hair looking elegant in its days.
And the sweet smile-charming and cunning.
I wish I’m a bird,
And sooner will be my flight to her.
I could see the longing in her eyes.
The face ever charming and vivacious.
The drizzling rain poured down in my love’s land.
And haven’t it been eons?
I shall see her soon.
For she is sure to meet me.
The wings of the time leave nothing to stay,
In the resting place, I saw my love.
I hugged her, But alas!
It was only my dream.
I wished the gleam shall sparkle in any way,
Drizzling ceased, the mist vanishes among the trees.
I smiled to fill the calmness of my heart,
Lo and behold! I am going for her.
With nights and days, travelled.
With rain and rays I moved.
Over the jeopardising ways,
Blimey, she looked at me in reality.
The dew confuses me with the touch,
Smiles fades away in the perishing seconds.
She disappears with the heralding call,
and you would’nt believe the misty morning…
